The PI Behavioral Analysis is an untimed, free-choice stimulus-response device that measures an individual’s encouraging drives as well as demands. The assessment has been used by countless businesses around the world for more than 60 years to link their people strategy to their business strategy. How does the assessment work?

Individuals exist with two checklists of descriptive adjectives. The first list asks participants to select the ones that best describe how others expect them to behave. The second list asks the participants to choose what truly describes them. Each term is associated with one of the five drives below.

What does the assessment measure?

The extent to which a person seeks to regulate their environment.

The level to which a private person looks for social interaction with other people.

The degree to which an individual seeks consistency as well as security in their environment.

The degree to which a private entity seeks to satisfy formal regulations and structure.
